Important Reminders ⚠
1. Hanoi Airport : NEVER EVER FOLLOW ANYONE to their cars UNLESS they have your full name and with a proof that they are sent by the hotel. Beware of fake Grab drivers!! Say NO to anyone who approach you with a Grab signboard and Grab uniform.
2. Handphone and safety : Whenever you take out your phone in Hanoi (especially when using GPS navigation when you walk), MAKE SURE YOU TIE THE SECURITY STRING ON YOUR WRIST AT ALL TIMES ( motorcyclist snatch cases are common)
3. CASH SCAM : DO NOT LET ANYONE TO TOUCH YOUR CASH, or “help you to count”, especially when making payment. Due to our unfamiliarity to Vietnamese Dong, sometimes we may take longer time to count the cash before we pay. Common scam : 对方一把抢过你的一叠现金说我帮你算，事实上偷偷抽了几张大钞再还给你。Be careful.
4. How to count Vietnam Dong : Easy hack - 忘掉后面3个0， 前面的数字直接÷6。 Example, 60,000 Dong - 忘掉000，60÷6= RM10 ， 600,000 Dong, 600÷6= RM100， 以此类推。

- about 15 mins walk from hotel
- 地图上有两间 Xoi Yen， 选择地址 35b.p , Nguyen Huu Huan的这一家
- 分量中等。一般上可以两个人share一份刚刚好，3个人可以选择叫1碗或2碗，看你当时饿不饿。
- How to order: Just order “MIX’ (everything is included). For rice, recommend Saffron
前往参观河内著名景点： 还剑湖
（GPS navigate Hoan Kiam lake, 湖边凉风习习柳树成荫，可在湖边散步歇息）
- In the middle if the lake there is a temple/pagoda (needs to pay entrance fee), can go and have a look at 当年传说中的巨型神龟的真实肉身标本）
***备注：河内没有什么景点的。不需要赶时间打卡。每个地方可以放慢脚步，慢慢走慢慢看。享受慢活节奏。
Visit Hanoi famous cathedral 打卡拍照
(GPS navigate : St Joseph Cathedral) 5 mins walk from Hoan Kiam lake.
- Bahn Com : 正方形的越南kuih,糯糯的，里面也是绿豆馅，不会太甜，绿色的皮很清香，好吃
- 有点像我们的kuih, 但是风味有点不同，有一种特别的清香，QQ的，不甜。如果街上看到也可以买一小盒
- 河内特产。包在荷叶里的甜口草绿色糯米饭，配上椰丝是很软糯香的口感。但是一般秋天才会有这道甜点，这个季节可遇不可求。
Lunch at Pho Ga Nguyet (the famous Michelin chicken Pho in Hanoi)
- 5 mins walk from St. Joseph cathedral
- They are famous for their DRY Pho (发音：fé) , but I recommend to order both the dry and soup version to try

出来闲逛 36行街 和老城区

没有固定的街道，没有地图，只有混乱（乱中有序）的交通，充满烟火气和热闹的大街小巷，各类街头小吃和以行业分类的小巷。随便走走看看，自由探索。
米其林Michelin 河内特色莳萝香草烤鱼晚餐
（ ***** 特别注意⚠ GPS Navigate : 6B.P Duong Thanh ,注意注意！！！！店名叫Cha Ca Thang Long 但是在 GPS不可以直接 key in Cha Ca Thang Long, 因为它们太出名所以Google map 地址被hack了，只要gps 直接 type Cha Ca Thang Lung 就会被引导到宰游客的同名「假店」去)
一定要认清这四个中文字： 浣花别墅 - 才是正版的米其林河内百年烤鱼
How to order : 1 person mandatory order 1 set, so 3 pax = 3 set (comes with 春卷）
（portion is quite small, so 3 pax 3 set is just right) The waiters will teach you how to eat
Hanoi Famous Train Street 火车街 (5 mins walk from 浣花别墅)
**Note 📍: 火车街🚂 有强制消费。必须要随便找一间店坐下随便叫一两杯水才可以坐着等火车来（游客景点价格会比外面稍微高一些，所以叫两杯水/咖啡share 就好）
一些店家会很 aggresive地拉客，不用理他们。每间店大同小异，你随便找一间顺眼的坐下来就可以了。
记得坐下来前先问店家 “下一班火车几点来” （虽然他们也可能会随口讲个时间骗你😂）
火车来的时候很刺激（但是不至于有危险）-别靠太近，注意安全）

另注： 河内晚上特别热闹，当地人随便拉一张塑料小椅子就坐在大马路边吃东西聊天。这是河内特有的市井烟火气。要是回酒店的路上有看见想尝试的小吃/甜点/豆浆/布丁也可以像当地人来上一碗坐在马路边体验一下河内独特的生活方式。

*备注：：整个Sapa 的食物都是少数民族食物- 不好吃不好吃不好吃-价钱还要普遍偏贵，这两天吃就将就一点
Little Sapa restaurant 就是随便一间普通小店，食物普通，但价格合理。随便吃个quick lunch填饱肚子就好
Sun Plaza Sapa + Fansipan (Sapa 著名地标建筑 + 番西邦缆车🚠中心）
- 售票站在 Sun Plaza里面。首先要买票坐欧洲小火车到半山， 到半山（如果要上山顶的话）再坐缆车上山（不建议，首先缆车票很贵 ，来回接近 RM200一个人，缆车时间很久约40分钟，山顶上也没什么东西看就是一个庙和一片云雾）
- 不上山顶的话就只是买到半山的小火车的票（来回）
- 半山有一个像金马伦一样的“花朵世界展览“，入场免费- 风景很美很好拍照

Dinner @ famous O Quy Ho Sapa restaurant

Sapa 少数民族特色晚餐 - 每个游客必点的招牌pumpkin🎃乌鸡盅。可以加个烤竹筒饭+干干鸡combo三个人就够了。（分量偏大，价钱偏贵，味道非常一般- 整个Sapa 都是这样, dont set any expectation for food ）
天气冷冷。Have a walk around Sapa town, 五光十色的边境小山城，非常热闹
备注：： Sapa 地区著名产自酿的梅子酒，很好喝。很多超市或餐厅都有卖。如果有喝酒的话可以买一小瓶尝尝，两天刚好喝完不用带走。

*Take a GRAB TAXI back to Pistachio hotel (***注意⚠️ SAPA只有 Grab taxi没有 Grab car)
To order a GrabTaxi instead of a GrabCar, open the app, select the "Transport" or “Car” icon, enter your destination, and scroll through the vehicle options to specifically select "Taxi" or “GrabTaxi”. Confirm your pickup and booking, the app will find the nearest available taxi with fixed price.

Order a Grab Taxi to Cat Cat Village 猫猫村 （ tell Xiao A Yi 猫猫村一只猫也没有 😹）
- 很多人会租民族服装拍照，不贵，还可以讲价，I think about RM30-50 max. if you want you can rent one set and share with Xiao A Yi. If don’t wanna rent also nvm. 猫猫村风景很美，慢慢走慢慢看，全程进出大概3小时左右）

Again, no expectation for Sapa food ya. Curry chicken in coconut is okay.

(15 mins walk, or 6 mins Grab taxi if lazy to walk)

很有特色的一个地方。值得一去。一间小小的木屋，很温馨，天气冷的话老板娘会烤火炉生火取暖。冷冷的天气来一杯热咖啡/hot chocolate, 吃一片热热的waffle看着雾气弥漫的美丽风景很疗愈
****整个Sapa 的行程和景点其实已经走完了😆 剩下的就是吃吃喝喝天气冷冷散散步消磨时间- rest and relax
喝完下午茶走几步路就回到hotel了，可以回房间睡午觉
Sapa必吃 特色火锅@ Hmong Restaurant
(10 mins walk from Pistachio hotel)
order their Sturgeon Hotpot (鲟鱼火锅）， 鲟鱼是他们自己养殖的，非常非常新鲜，一点腥味也没有（放心），肉质肥美。火锅汤底只有一种（没得选），是微微酸辣的越南特色汤底, not too bad 挺开胃的. 冷冷的天气吃火锅很爽
****晚上也没有节目了。自由活动。

- Bun Cha 是另一种河内独有的特色美食。烤得焦香的猪肉饼蘸在微甜清爽的鱼露里配着米线和薄荷罗勒叶紫苏叶一起吃 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
** 注意⚠️： Bun Cha Dac Kim 的员工有故意找少钱给游客的黑历史（few cases reported on google reviews)，所以付钱的时候尽量不要付大钞，能够付整数最好

Shopping @ Dong Xuan Market ( a bit similar to 瓦洛洛 market ChiangMai)
- SEAFOOD BUFFET FEAST (Papa’s favourite!!!)
Two options :
Option 1: 河内著名的「莲花餐厅」🪷 Sen Tay Ho
- 很大很大的一个游客自助餐厅，有超过100多种菜品选择（超夸张），主打海鲜，但是食物和海鲜品质review 好坏参半。（虽然可能不是最最最新鲜，但是胜在种类繁多，价格非常合理）
- 在河内西湖富人区，需要搭 Grab一小段路 (**注意这里又用回Grab car 而不是 Grab taxi 了）
Option 2 ：Maison Sen Buffet
- 在老城区，走路20 分钟，Grab Car10分钟（不过这个时间可能会塞车）
- 选择和品类没有莲花餐厅那么多，可能少一半- 只有50多道菜品，但是胜在海鲜和食物品质远远比莲花餐厅premium和新鲜。价钱比莲花餐厅贵一点点。可以收信用卡。
总结：
要 variety (选择多），性价比高 = 莲花餐厅
要quality (新鲜的食材和海鲜）= Maison Sen
*Both restaurants need advance booking, so please ask the hotel staffs to make a booking on your behalf.
Reminder 1 : Buy some pastry or snacks to eat while waiting for boarding at the airport. Everything in Hanoi airport is quoted in USD and its exorbitantly expensive. One small bottle of mineral water cost $3 USD so try not to spend on food/drinks in Hanoi Airport
Reminder 2 : Please ask hotel to arrange a taxi to the airport for you. They will quote you a FIX PRICE, YOU PAY TO THE HOTEL upon checking out and YOU PAY NOTHING TO THE DRIVER. No scam no hassle no overcharge.
